Out of the box

The presented installation intends to revive the proposed area by giving it a space for social gathering and exhibitions. The concept of the structure connects with the concept of Metelkova. The cube, as one of the basic geometrical forms represents the commonness of generally accepted lifestyle, whereas the trees represent the alternative concept of Metelkova people. They live and think out of the box by breaking boundaries and pushing the limits, like the trees break the cube.

Construction is made of Trimo Invisio panels; exterior colors are grey, black and white while the interior is more colorful – orange, purple and white. The lighting is hidden in between two translucent Aglas panels in several different places where the trees break the facade.
