Trimo Trojan Horse

Metelkova mesto is a known subcultural center of Ljubljana, where a number of home and international artists create. Its artists do not follow established mainstream trends of popculture and therefore infiltrate subculture into integrated cultural sphere. The instalation Trimo Trojan Horse whith its shape (horse in urban environment) makes visual psyhological effect or some kind of tension, which attracts people and invites them in subculture environment of Metelkova. The visitors are then infiltrated, just like Trojan horse.

The instalation is made as a known public place for meeting – the object is a recognizable modern urban sculpture; a public information point - with access to internet through touch screen which is under the instalation and with Wi-Fi free access; a site for cultural eventes – for video projections there is a build-in projector. When the main show features, it is directed onto portable screen for larger pubic, but between shows it is pointed on the floor in front of the instalation and shows short video clips. By principle ’work-in-progress’, the instalation is expected to be painted with grafitti.
