High performance skin for breath - taking design

It doesn’t matter if you’re not a fan of sports cars and racing, you’ve probably heard about the famous Ferrari. More than five years ago due to its great popularity, Ferrari decided to develop indoor theme park called Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. Its size is impressive, but this is not the only thing that is unique about this park.

Apart from being the largest indoor theme park and housing the fastest roller coaster in the world, it is also the largest standing seam pre-coated aluminium roof in the world.
Roof designed by Benoy architects is highly insulated and the main façades utilise efficient glass to reduce thermal loads and glare. The roof only is over 200.000m2 with almost 7 kilometres of guttering; whereas the total project volume including façade covering equivalent of 50 football pitches. The result of all this is revolutionary in architecture, bringing greater challenges for architects; design is the benchmark, ambitious, with great integrity in the environment.
Relaying to its peak performance and aesthetics value the Ferrari park cladding distributor “Euramax” is supplying its product to top providers of building skin solutions. One of them, Trimo is in a constant search of improvements and new visual performances with a quest of offering only the best for its clients. With a focus on high end project architecture a new researches in a field of corten, stainless steel, and wood or even carbon look appearance is investigated.
With this high level improvements, QbissOne team is trying to emphasise even more on all in one, composite facade element that is proven to be so recognisably unique on the market.
When top envelope performance is in question it is not only a QbissOne corner detail that overlaps the current production. Trimo design possibilities provably acts in favour of durability. Environmental extremes including salt, sand, sun (high UV rays) or even fire are all the impacts that are taken into consideration when challenged with top performance projects requirements.
